Show Us Your Moves!
I need your help in the movement to cure arthritis
Fact: In Georgia, there are over 9,200 children living with arthritis . Most of them are living with Rheumatoid Arthritis – which is a VERY painful and progressive disease…
Fact: There are currently only (5) Pediatric Rheumatologists in our entire state serving these 9,200 kids. Can you even imagine that being the truth?
Another difficult fact to comprehend is that there are over >300,000 children in the US that are living with arthritis and less than 250 specialists to treat them.
The Arthritis Foundation is committed to better serving and advocating for these unseen and unheard heroes. My goal is to raise not only the critical research dollars to fund vital arthritis research, but to also raise the awareness and consciousness of our communities -- so that we can provide better support and offer more programs and services for these amazing “little people.”
I have set an aggressive personal goal for this year’s Arthritis Walk Atlanta – but realize that Arthritis, as a family of over 100 different diseases, is not concerned with the economic downturn and in fact those that are living with one or more forms of arthritis are having an even more difficult time…
I invite you join me and our Arthritis Army on Saturday, May 2nd and contribute what you can in moving our mission forward. I welcome your time, talent and of course financial commitment so that we can ensure that these children living with Juvenile Arthritis have a voice!
Thank you in advance for your SUPPORT!
